The approach behind every service
Each piece that comes through Chronavault is inspected by the watchmaker who will do the work. That person prepares a condition note before anything is disassembled — an honest record of what the watch looks like and how it is running at intake. You receive a copy, and work begins only once you have reviewed it.
Turnaround is discussed at intake based on the actual queue, not an optimistic estimate. If something changes — a part is harder to source than expected, or the movement reveals more wear than the initial inspection suggested — we contact you before continuing.
Case work is agreed in advance. We discuss what level of refinishing suits the piece and does not remove original surface character. Re-brushing and polishing are done by hand with tools appropriate to the specific metal finish.
At collection, timing results are shared in writing. The owner leaves with a record of what was done, what was replaced, and what the movement was running at when it left the bench. That record becomes part of the watch's history.

Full Movement Servicing

A complete strip-down, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly of a mechanical or automatic movement, followed by timing regulation on a calibrated bench. Suited to owners of everyday and heritage pieces who want their watch running steadily again. Turnaround is discussed up front, and worn parts are noted before any work continues.

Service 02
Case & Dial Restoration

Careful refinishing of the case, crystal, and dial to bring a worn piece back toward its original character. Includes ultrasonic cleaning, crystal replacement where needed, and gentle re-brushing or polishing chosen to respect the watch's age. Ideal for pieces of sentimental value where a measured hand matters more than a heavy makeover.

- Crystal replacement (sapphire, mineral, or acrylic as appropriate)
- Hand re-brushing or polishing agreed in advance
- Crown and pushers checked and serviced

Service 03
Vintage & Complication Overhaul

An extended, workbench-intensive overhaul for older calibres, chronographs, and pieces with additional complications, including part sourcing or in-house fabrication when catalogue components are unavailable. Documented condition report provided so the owner understands each step. Reserved for collectors who value thorough, unhurried work.

Standards
Applied across all services
Secure Handling
All pieces in the workshop are stored in a locked cabinet when not on the bench. The premises are monitored and the workshop is not accessible outside opening hours.
Calibrated Test Equipment
Timing machines are checked against a reference source at regular intervals. Results recorded for owners are from instruments that the workshop can stand behind.
Manufacturer-Specified Lubricants
Lubricants are stocked by type and application — not a single product applied across the entire movement. This extends the interval before the next service is needed.
Written Documentation
Condition notes, parts records, and timing results are prepared in writing for every piece. These are not internal records — they are given to the owner at collection.
Owner Approval at Every Stage
Parts are not ordered and additional work is not begun without the owner's agreement. If the scope changes mid-service, work pauses until you have been contacted and have responded.
Water Resistance Testing
Watches where water resistance is a relevant factor are tested after case reassembly. Results are noted. If a watch cannot be restored to its rated resistance, this is stated clearly.

Base service rates
All prices are per piece. Parts, where required, are quoted separately and agreed before ordering. Prices are in Thai Baht and do not include VAT where applicable.
